wigan galleries town centre redevelopment

The £135 redevelopment will revitalise the town centre through a mixed use scheme including a hotel, market hall, entertainment/event space, car park and 500 residential units.  The transportation strategy prioritised enhanced walking and cycling accessibility through managing and reducing vehicular access and car parking provision on Site.

A 12 storey sustainable office development in the heart of Leeds. The development will target BREEAM Outstanding and a Nabers rating of 5.5. The design promotes sustainable and active travel, with minimal on-site car parking, premium changing facilities and secure cycle storage areas.

northfields meadows, seamer - residential

Mosodi assisted Linden Homes to gain planning approval for 249 houses on an allocated housing Site. We have also assisted with the delivery of a PRoW strategy including a successful public inquiry and temporary diversions of existing footpath routes.

TfGM roadshows

Mosodi are currently delivering over 80 active travel roadshows across Greater Manchester on behalf of Transport for Grr Manchester. Mosodi are working across all 10 boroughs with an extensive range of partners including British Cycling, Love2Ride, Up and Running, Ramblers, Local Bike shops and clubs and local community groups.

Active Travel England

Mosodi are part of a consortium with Sheffield Hallam university and Nat Cen working for Active Travel England to deliver a Monitoring and Evaluation Plan for active travel schemes across the country. The work is to ensure maximum impact and provide maximum value for money.

steven phillips - director

Steven helped launch Mosodi in 2018 and is a transport planner with over 18 years’ experience in highways and transportation. He advises a variety of private and public sector organisations on a wide range of development proposals. He takes a lead role in managing projects and prepares detailed reports to support development sites through the planning application process. Provides technical expertise in accessibility planning, public rights of way, junction modelling and has been an expert witness. In his spare time, he watches Oldham Athletic and goes walking in the peak district.

chris taylor - director of sustainable travel

Chris joined Mosodi in 2018 and is Director of Sustainable Travel Services with over 20 years’ experience providing support to a wide range of high profile clients including Active Travel England, NHS, Transport for Greater Manchester, Haworth and a large number of local authorities across the country. Chris leads on large scale projects across large developments delivering innovative and comprehensive solutions to reduce car dependency. Chris created 1dayaweek our behaviour change campaign which is being delivered across Tameside and across several high profile developments.

jessica reynolds - engineer

Jess joined Mosodi in 2021 and has 5 years of experience in the industry. Jess’ expertise lie in GIS mapping, spreadsheets, marketing and social media. Jess has assisted in many TfGM events and created active travel leaflets both residential and commercial. In her spare time, Jess enjoys going to concerts, walking her Cavapoochon Bailey and weekends away in the campervan! Jess holds a BA Hons in Geography and Business and a MSc in Transport Planning.

richard murphy - director

Highways Engineer with experience in a wide range of integrated transport and development planning projects. Project manages and takes the lead role in the preparation and submission of highways and transportation supporting documentation for planning applications nationally. Works closely with businesses in developing Travel Plans and introducing smarter working practices.

kat stockburn - senior engineer

Kat joined Mosodi in 2019 and has provided highways input into numerous residential and commercial planning applications, assisted in providing 42 TfGM active travel events and submitted many PRoW diversion notices to name just a few! In her spare time Kat loves spending time in the gym and getting engrossed in a good tv series. With a keen interest in sustainability she is passionate about alternative transport modes, and assists in delivering our sustainability campaigns. Kat holds a BA Hons in Geography and Planning and a MSc in Transport Planning.

Dave Haycocks - Finance Director

David has been Finance Director of Mosodi since it was launched in 2018. He has a wealth of experience in financial management within the property sector; working previously within the corporate banking sector and was involved in complex development funding for a number of years. David works closely with the management team at Mosodi to oversee all aspects of the financial elements of the company

lewis griffiths - engineer

Lewis joined the Mosodi team in 2023 having started his career at 17 working through an apprenticeship scheme which started with obtaining a level 3 diploma in civil engineering to achieving a first class degree in civil engineering. Lewis is involved with highway design, traffic modelling and also gets involved with the Mosodi active travel events. In his spare time Lewis enjoys going to the gym, reading fiction novels and spending time with his family. Lewis holds a BEng in Civil Engineering

ashlea collins - administrator

Ashlea sits at the heart of Mosodi, being responsible for the administration of all our office systems. She puts her rounded experience to use providing meticulous administrative support. During her free time Ashlea is a dance trainer to over 30+ children ages 4-16 and has been involved for 30 years! She also enjoys live music and is very much a festival go’er during the summer!

sarah tattersall - sustainable travel advisor

Sarah joined Mosodi in 2023 and she leads the TfGM Active Travel events spreading the good word of how great walking and cycling is to thousands of GM residents. Sarah has experience in project management and behaviour change which she puts to good use in managing our behaviour change campaign 1dayaweek, check it out: 1dayaweek - Leave the car at home and Win. Sarah holds a BA Hons in Business Studies, Prince2 and Level 6 in Marketing & Digital Strategy. When not working Sarah volunteers her time at a Mental Health charity and for fun likes to lift weights in the gym, gaming and going to see live music and comedy gigs.

Sydney Hulme - Administrator

Sydney joined Mosodi in 2023 and has 5 years’ experience working in the Business and Finance industry. Sydney is currently at the halfway mark for her AAT Qualification, which she is really enjoying. Sydney is fitness obsessed, so in her spare time she enjoys going to the gym and competing with her dance team. She also trains a dance team of 12-16 year olds. Away from this, a holiday is a must for Sydney!
