Formed through a strategic merger, this new arm strengthens our ability to deliver rigorous evaluation, inclusive engagement, and actionable policy insight for our clients and communities.
Rooted in Sheffield’s proud tradition of research excellence and civic innovation, Mosodi Research combines academic rigour with consultancy agility. Our division is led by two sector experts with nearly 50 years of combined experience in academic research:
Ed Ferrari, Director of Research – Offers more than 25 years of leadership in applied policy research, including his tenure as Professor and Director at the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research (CRESR) at Sheffield Hallam University.
Maxine Gregory, Head of Research – Brings over 20 years’ experience of evaluation spanning the health, wellbeing, education, and active environment sectors.
With a proven track record of high-quality delivery and impact, including work with every UK local authority, Mosodi Research is setting new benchmarks in mixed-methods evaluation and physical activity research, especially in active travel. Our team’s deep sector knowledge and practical understanding of local challenges and opportunities continue to reinforce Mosodi’s reputation for innovation, reliability, and impact.
