Background

The need for clear and reliable evidence is growing, with organisations under pressure to show value, secure funding and demonstrate results. At Mosodi Research, we provide independent and flexible research services to meet this challenge. We balance technical rigour with accessibility, making sure our analysis is easy to understand and use. Our work combines academic strength with consultancy know-how to help demonstrate the impact of programmes and policies, produce clear insights that influence decisions, and deliver research that supports planning and investment.

Experience

Our team combines long-standing expertise in applied research and evaluation with a practical understanding of client needs. Research Manager Maxine Gregory brings over 20 years’ experience in evaluation across health, wellbeing, education and active environments, with strengths in business development and translating complex data into clear insight. Research Director Ed Ferrari adds over 25 years of leadership in applied policy research, including as former Professor and Director of the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research at Sheffield Hallam University. Together, we have delivered work for local authorities, combined authorities, NGOs, developers and national bodies, with recent projects spanning Active Travel England, social prescribing, brownfield development advice and programme evaluations for local government and third sector partners.
