Behavioural Change Monitoring

Mosodi’s Behavioural Change Monitoring services assess the impact of transport and sustainability initiatives, including our very own 1dayaweek campaign. By tracking shifts in travel habits, attitudes, and engagement and using data-driven insights, we evaluate the effectiveness of behavioural change campaigns, helping clients refine strategies and maximize long-term success.

Background

Encouraging sustainable travel and behavioural change requires more than just policy implementation—it demands ongoing assessment and adaptation. At Mosodi, we use advanced monitoring techniques, including surveys, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, to measure the success of behavioural interventions. By identifying key trends and areas for improvement, we help clients develop targeted strategies that drive lasting, positive change in travel behaviour and sustainability practices.

Experience

One of our flagship projects is the 1dayaweek Behaviour Change Programme, which has been successfully delivered across multiple NHS sites, including locations in Bradford and Tameside, as well as 12 mixed-use development sites. The programme aims to reduce single car occupancy by encouraging employees, residents, and visitors to switch to more sustainable modes of transport, such as walking, cycling, and public transit, at least one day a week. This initiative has played a key role in improving air quality, reducing congestion, and promoting healthier lifestyles.

Through tailored campaigns, engagement strategies, and continuous support, Mosodi has driven measurable reductions in car usage and enhanced public health outcomes.
